What studies show us
A study published in October 2024 in the journal Translational Andrology and Urology by the Department of Urology at the University of Virginia followed patients for three years after treatment with low-intensity shock waves, the same technology used by Alma Duo. A lasting improvement in erectile function is observed during the first two years, with peak effectiveness around the first year. Between two and three years, the effect gradually diminishes.
