Abnormal uterine bleeding refers to any vaginal bleeding that is outside of the normal menstrual cycle: very heavy periods, prolonged, irregular bleeding, bleeding between periods or after menopause. The causes are varied and can include hormonal imbalance, polyps, fibroids, thyroid problems, or other conditions. Our team evaluates your symptoms, prescribes necessary tests, and provides you with a suitable treatment plan.

For women of childbearing age, heavy periods requiring a change of protection every hour or lasting more than 7 days also warrant a consultation.
