Cortisone infiltration is an injection of corticosteroids directly into a joint or inflamed tissue. It quickly reduces inflammation and pain associated with conditions such as bursitis, tendonitis, osteoarthritis, or other joint issues.
At the NIOS Clinic, infiltrations are performed using recognized anatomical landmarks, a safe technique widely used in clinical practice for various types of injections. Relief is often felt in the days following the procedure.

The number of infiltrations per joint is time-limited. Our team will advise you on the appropriate frequency based on your condition. A slight discomfort may be felt at the injection site for 24 to 48 hours after the procedure.
