At the NIOS Clinic, our team quickly assesses the situation, identifies the type of otitis, and provides you with a prescription sent directly to your pharmacy — all in one appointment.

If your symptoms are severe, worsen, or persist for more than a few days without improvement, a consultation allows for an assessment of the situation and a determination of whether it is a viral or bacterial infection.
In the majority of cases (e.g., acute bronchitis), the symptoms are of viral origin and do not require antibiotics. Antibiotic treatment may be considered only when specific clinical criteria suggest a bacterial infection, as in certain cases of acute sinusitis.
