Ear cleaning is a procedure that involves removing excess earwax (cerumen) accumulated in the ear canal. A cerumen plug can cause a feeling of a blocked ear, decreased hearing, tinnitus, dizziness, or discomfort. Our team uses a safe irrigation technique to remove the plug and restore your comfort.

Post-wash verification and recommendations
To facilitate the removal of the plug, it is recommended to apply drops of mineral oil or olive oil in the affected ear for 2 to 3 days before your appointment. This softens the earwax and makes the procedure quicker and more comfortable. Never use cotton swabs to try to remove a plug, as this can push it deeper.
