Group A Streptococcus is a bacterium responsible for strep throat, commonly referred to as 'Strep A'. Without treatment, this infection can lead to complications. At the NIOS Clinic, a rapid screening test can confirm or rule out the presence of Group A Streptococcus within minutes. If the result is positive, a prescription for antibiotics is sent directly to your pharmacy.
