At the NIOS Clinic, our team assesses your wound and chooses the most appropriate method: stitches or skin glue, depending on the depth, location, and type of injury, and provides you with recommendations for post-intervention care. All of this is done without the wait times of the emergency room.

Recommendations for home care and follow-up appointments for removal
If the wound is very deep, touches a tendon or bone, bleeds heavily without stopping, or is on the face, it is best to go to the emergency room.
Skin glue can be preferred for certain superficial and well-aligned wounds. It allows for a quick closure, generally less painful, without the need for stitch removal later. You will also receive clear guidelines for post-procedure care.
Stitches are usually removed between 7 and 10 days after placement, depending on the location of the wound. Skin glue, on the other hand, falls off naturally within a few days and does not require removal.
